ForBike

Warranty

Last updated: 10 August 2026

ForBike sells original bicycle products from brand distributors. Warranty coverage depends on the manufacturer and the type of product. Below is how claims work in our shop and workshop.

1. What is covered

Most new products carry a manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period set by the brand (often 1–2 years, or as stated by the manufacturer).

Statutory consumer rights for defective goods apply in addition to any manufacturer warranty.

2. What is not covered

Warranty typically does not cover:

• normal wear (brake pads, tires, chains, grip tape, etc.); • damage from crashes, misuse, incorrect installation or poor maintenance; • modifications or repairs by unauthorized parties; • cosmetic damage that does not affect function; • consumables unless the brand states otherwise.

3. How to make a claim

Contact us via Contact & FAQ or support chat with: order number, product, description of the defect and photos if possible.

We will advise whether the claim goes through ForBike (workshop inspection / brand RMA) or directly to the manufacturer. Keep your proof of purchase.

4. Repair, replacement or refund

Depending on brand rules and the law, a defective product may be repaired, replaced or refunded. Timing depends on diagnostics and brand logistics.

If the product was installed in our workshop, tell us — it may speed up inspection.

5. Workshop services

Paid workshop labour has a workmanship warranty for the specific job performed, separate from the manufacturer parts warranty. Ask us for details when booking.

6. Returns of non-defective goods

Changing your mind about a purchase is handled under the return / withdrawal rules on the Returns page and in the Public Offer — not as a warranty claim.
