Wheel service: truing, mounting and builds
At For-Bike we true wheels, adjust spoke tension, mount tyres, prepare tubeless systems and build complete wheels. The lines below are distinct jobs — not duplicates of the same work.

When wheel service is needed
Come in for lateral or radial wobble, tyre/tube changes, a tubeless conversion, or a full build. Mild truing is quicker; severe damage may need more time or a new rim.
How the jobs differ
- Wheel truing (fixing an “eight”) — mild or complex lateral / combined rim run-out and spoke tensioning.
- Dish correction — centering the rim relative to the hub (not the same as an “eight”).
- Wheel disassembly — taking the wheel apart for repair or rebuild.
- Mounting with inflation — tyre and/or tube fit with inflation (not a full tubeless conversion).
- Tubeless system setup — tubeless prep; sealant, tape, valve and similar consumables are paid separately.
- Turnkey wheel build — building a complete wheel from hub, rim and spokes (parts supplied separately).
How service works
- Book and briefly describe the issue.
- Inspect rim, spokes and hub.
- Pick the exact price-list line (e.g. mild vs complex truing).
- Work, check and hand-over.
If a rim is beyond a safe true, we recommend replacement.

FAQ
- Eight vs dish?
- An “eight” is lateral/radial run-out. Dish is left–right centering on the hub. They are separate price-list lines.
- Does tubeless include materials?
- No. Sealant, tape, valve and similar consumables are not included in labour.
- Is tyre mounting the same as tubeless?
- No. Mounting with inflation is a tyre/tube job. Tubeless setup is a separate line.
- What is included in turnkey build?
- Labour to assemble the wheel. Hub, rim and spokes are not automatically included.
- Mild vs complex truing?
- After measuring run-out we choose the matching price-list item.
